No-Sew Herbal Sachets - from Hello Nest

This is not only a wonderfully smelling craft, they're also super practical. I love using herbal sachets in my dresser drawers to keep things smelling fresh. These would also make wonderful gifts!

The best part... these require Zero sewing. Although you could probably tweak the project for older crafters who want to make them really sturdy!

I know what you're thinking... wait, isn't this a post about herbal crafts for kids in SUMMER?

Stay with me...

One of my favorite memories as a kid was making herbal Christmas cookie ornaments (just like these!) during our vacation time at the lake. All the cousins made them together and I'm pretty sure my parents still have these keepsakes in their ornament stash!

Project kits are available for a limited time during our Christmas in July sale (July 7th -15th, 2021). ...but you can get them early here! (shhh)

Nature Art Mud Pies - from Rhythms of Play

Is summer even summer without getting your hands dirty outside??

Not really a "craft" per se, but this is a wonderful sensory activity that will keep the kids busy for hours.

Get them suited up in some play clothes and set 'em loose to unleash their brilliant artistic side!

DIY Non-Toxic Aromatherapy Bubbles - from The Herbal Spoon

These are a great alternative to traditional bubbles that can contain nasty skin-irritating chemicals.

Plus, the kids will have fun making their own solution that they'll be able to personalize with their choice of added essential oil scents!

Pressed Flower Rocks - from Instructables

These would make great gifts for friends and loved ones. Or, if using larger rocks, could make beautiful garden or yard decor!

This is a bigger/longer project that's probably better suited for older kids.
